Personal Statement:
I'm a change agent. I use new and traditional media to educate and illuminate. I am a composer, author, father, seeker and tax payer. I love to ask why? To try to get to the underlying reason things are the way they are. I love to dabble in lots of things and then fuse them together in a new way to reveal something new and different.

About My Job

Job Title:
Founder IHI
Office Location:
Bethesda MD
Department:
Product Development
Employed Since:
August 2006
What I Love About My Job:
I love thinking of ways to engage people in issues of identity and diversity. I especially love writing and thinking outside of the box. To me if the people on the planet don't increase our ability to deal with our differences than our future is in jeopardy. I love seeing the light bulbs go off when people recognize that they do have the power and ability to make a difference in their work life and at home in their communities and families.
What I find most challenging:
The most challenging is the sales process. It's long and there are so many hurdals to overcome working with large organizations. I wish I could give my work away so it could be used on a larger scale. I hate it that money gets in the way of education.
What I'm currently working on:
Thinking about the ultimate knowmenow product. What will version 3.0 look like?
What I've Accomplished:
I've written three books with my fourth on the way. My new book is called Going SOULo and it is my first novel and it is about spirituality.

Eye on Identity/Physical Appearance

Posted by Mark on Mar 28, 2010 at 4:42 PM
We conducted an in-depth poll to discover the number one identity affiliation that causes the most insensitivity and intolerance in peoples lives. The winner, was physical appearance.  Eye on Identity has produced several segments to help you think about this topic and its impact in our lives. The team activity gives you and your group a chance to analyze this often overlooked identity affiliation and its importance to your team, your customers and or clients as well as to members of the communities where you do business.
